Hello Kitty

Hello Kitty is a very well-established brand which is popular for its merchandise like pendants, key chains, lockets, lip gloss, fragrances and various other accessories. Hello Kitty was actually the name given to a cartoon cat created in the year 1974 by Sanrio (Sanrio Co. Ltd.). This is a Japanese company which was involved in marketing character-branded goods locally as well as in various other countries all over the world. Initially, the character was used by Sanrio for decorating petty merchandise such as pencil boxes and coin purses and the target audience was small girls. But once Hello Kitty gained popularity, the company launched a variety of different products to expand the brand line.
