Mattel Inc. is a multi-national manufacturing company that has produced many famous products and brands such as Barbie Dolls, Hot Wheels, board games, Monster High dolls and many others. The company was started in 1945 by Matt Handson, Ruth and Elliot Handler. The Barbie doll is one of Mattel's most popular creations and has become a cultural icon. The dolls were created in 1959 and now have a wide range of clothing, accessories, books, stationery, cosmetics and video games. Barbie has also appeared in numerous animated series and was a supporting character in Disney's Toy Story series.
