Nine materials crowd the core and base of Amber Eclipse, an unusually dense structure for an unbranded release built around citrus and smoke. Lemon, lavender, intense citrus and benzoin open with a bright, resinous freshness that hints at the density waiting underneath. Coumarin crystals, guaiac wood, cedarwood and vanilla absolute build a rich, woody core that shifts the composition considerably from its citrus start. Sandalwood, patchouli, sensual spices, warm tobacco and ambro fix round things out dark and smoky, giving Amber Eclipse Cologne serious staying power once fully developed. Oriental woody is the fitting classification, structured for evening wear and cooler weather rather than a bright daytime spray. It suits dinners, gatherings and any setting calling for a fragrance with considerable density. Fall and winter favor the tobacco and patchouli close most, when that smoky depth holds the most weight.
