Jessica McClintock, Inc. is an American retail company founded by renowned fashion designer Jessica Gagnon McClintock. McClintock rose to fame owing to her formal dress gowns that she designed for young women all around the world. Originally a school teacher by profession, McClintock did not have any formal fashion pedigree. The talented fashion designer used the skills she had acquired from her seamstress grandmother, and soon after went on to buy the company Gunne Sax in the year 1969.
